On Friday morning, I shot Zayden’s 3 month pictures. Jack & Stacia, Zayden’s parents, were referred to me through a family member. This “little” guy was great to work with! For a 3 month old, he was a big guy, but he sure was happy. Once we got him in the right positions, he was very content. Oh, and that pacifier certainly came in handy! I was also able to try out my new addition to the studio. I found it on Craigslist and have been on the lookout for one for a while. I just happened to check and found one for the perfect price and the perfect color. It’s a settee, defined as “An elongated armchair that accommodates two or more people. It was developed in the 17th century, was often upholstered, and predates the sofa.” (www.villageantik.com/glossary.htm).
It was a wonderful piece of furniture to work with, and I can’t wait to use it more! In the meantime, enjoy some pictures of Zayden!
During these shots, we would put the pacifier in his mouth to soothe him and then take it out for a few shots. That’s why he looks so serene 🙂
My favorite from the session. Why do the best shots always come at the end?! 🙂
