Will was only my 3rd male of the year for senior portraits, and for some reason, when I worked with him on Monday, I was really stuck on senior “girl-mode.” In other words, my posing mind was waaaaay to feminine. 🙂 Obviously, things corrected itself as the session went on, but I just felt off! Will is a senior at Eagan High School and is really into drama and the speech team. He is eyeing some pretty big colleges after he graduates, and I can see that this guy is definitely destined for big things. In all honesty, I didn’t realize how great these photos were until I started to edit them. These turned out amazing!! I hope Will thinks the same. 🙂
Ok, this wasn’t planned. From what I could tell, this was an expression that came from Will due to nerves. It was at the beginning of the session, and he wasn’t quite sure if what he was doing was right. Yes, Will. This was perfect!
I hate posing people too much, however this one was posed… well, kind of. I was doing something with my camera (changing my lens I believe), and he was standing just like this picture below. He stopped once I was ready with the camera, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity! He needed to fix his hair again, and my camera needed to be ready. 😉
I think he totally looks like a young John Travolta in this photo.
