I was really looking forward to this session for a number of reasons. First one was that this family’s session last year was amazing! I got fantastic shots almost the entire time. Secondly, this was my first time shooting a session out at Holz Farm right here in Eagan. Tessa went on a field trip here with her class, and Nicole thought it might be a good idea for doing their session. When I went to check it out about a month ago, I knew it would be perfect. I definitely plan on doing more sessions here for sure, especially since it is in Eagan!! Tessa was always ready to whip out the classic, cheesy, 4-year-old smile. However, all we had to to was get her to tell us a joke to get the real, natural smile and laugh out of her. Drew, on the other hand, was a little tougher. Being at the perfect age for not sitting down and taking photos, he was certainly challenging to even get a glance at the camera, let alone smile. He was set on running around, doing his own agenda. It was certainly alot of work for all of us, yet I think Nicole and Dave will be pleased with the results!
And, this was the last time we got the kids to sit still 🙂
I thought this was a cute picture with the chickens.
We couldn’t get them to walk and hold hands, but I caught this little moment when they were running off to play. 🙂
