Hello! I hope everyone has had a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend!
As of right now, I am nearly full for the remainder of the summer, except for my State Fair Mini-Sessions, otherwise known as “Photos on a Stick”. 🙂 There are still a few openings left for those sessions. I hope to fill them up mostly because of how much fun it will be to do photo shoots out at the State Fair! Remember, the $300 price includes the following: 30-40 minutes, top 25 photos on disc, admission to the fair for your family (up to 4 people), and now, a Blue Ribbon Bargain Book! I will mail your tickets and your bargain book out to you prior to your session (time permitting, depending on when you book your session), so if you did want to come out a little earlier to the fair to spend some time, you have that option. Please visit my Mini-Sesssions page for more information.
For September, my mini-sessions are completely booked, and I will be taking on a very limited number of full sessions. For October, I only have 4 mini-sessions left, and I will be even more limited in taking on full sessions in October. I have 2 weddings in October and one the first weekend in November. Add that to my mini-sessions, and I have a very busy October already. I guess my point here is if you know that you want to schedule a full, regular session with me this fall, please contact me ASAP to get on the calendar. I will be saying no, unfortunately, if I am filled up, which I haven’t done in the past. I know fall is the busiest time for us photographers, but I also enjoy so many things about that time of year on a personal level. I can’t be bogged down with work, otherwise it’s just too much. After October, I’m hopefully going to have a studio in mind to rent for some studio mini-sessions for those of you who want more formal, indoor images. I’ll announce those on my blog and on my Facebook page when the time comes.
Finally, here is a very basic image of the fireworks show we watched this year. It was with my point and shoot camera, so definitely nothing fancy. One year, I’ll whip out a tripod and really crank out some nice images. For now, with two young kids, this is about as good as it gets. 🙂 Enjoy!!
