The weather was simply gorgeous for my first official round of fall mini-sessions on Saturday. We were at Clifton French Regional Park in Plymouth, and it’s a park that I adore even more after these photos. The lighting was amazing and the colors couldn’t have been better. You know, I wasn’t expecting the bugs to be an issue, but they were! I think I killed at least 4 mid bite… yuck!!!! Anyway, enough about my gross mosquito stories and onto the photos!
First up is Alyssa and her parents. What a beauty! This 4-year-old was a bit shy, but her daddy knew just the right way to get her to laugh.
Next were three wonderful kids, Hannah, Kai, & Kian. I last saw them a year ago in my old studio when Kian was a little infant. Now, he wasn’t so little and not sitting still very well. I’m still amazed at the family shots we got! It’s tough to get three kids their age to sit in one spot and all look at the camera, let alone smile!
My third session of the afternoon was another family of five! Emma, Lauren, & little Tommy were gems to work with. Emma & Lauren sure loved getting their photos taken, and once we got Tommy in the right position, we some smiles from him as well! He wasn’t too keen on smiling while he was on his stomach, despite all of our best efforts. 😉
Ella & Rilynn were next up on the schedule. These girls were in my studio back in January, so these photos were quite different! These two beauties really lit up the camera. Rilynn was a little more set on what she wanted to do vs. what everyone else wanted her to do, yet we still captured her huge smiles. Ella is at that age where the fake “cheeeeeese” smiles come out, however it wasn’t too difficult to get her laughing as well. I LOVED the vests their mom brought, even though it was a little warm. 😉
LOVE this photo!!
Finally, it’s one of my Watch Me Grow graduates back for her 2 year photos and some family photos. Jessa’s hair has curled up since I last saw her for her 18-month photos in the studio! And, she was alot more active. Jessa was just as expressive and fun as I remember, though. 🙂
