This wedding was my Saturday wedding of the weekend, and it was completely different from my Friday wedding. This was the 2nd marriage for both Jeff & Michelle. They each have adorable and gorgeous children that all came together on Saturday to form one, big family unit. Finally, the wedding and reception was held at the Chambers Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. For those of you who have not heard of this hotel, it is a chic, contemporary, and one big art gallery! One of the bridesmaids told me that you can’t go more than 13 feet without seeing a piece of art. It’s an expensive place to stay, eat, & drink, however it looks like one amazing experience. This was the perfect site for Michelle & Jeff’s special day.
The lighting was a photographer’s dream: lots of windows and white walls! 🙂 Stay tuned for lots of pictures!
(P.S. I just realized that my blog program washes out the pictures when I upload them. I was trying to figure out how that happened! So, for the record, I am not over-exposing and washing out my images on purpose. 🙂 )
This room was supposedly $1,000 per night. Crazy!

Jeff’s first time seeing Michelle
I’ll bet you can’t tell which ones aren’t siblings. I was amazed as to how alike these kids looked!
The bridal party
He kept kissing and hugging his mom. It was so adorable! I love this picture.
Now, this is something I have never seen at a wedding before. They had a metal plate and a diamond-tipped pen for guests to sign. How creative is that?!?
I love this picture as well. The dresses all matched so perfectly.
The little boy was so emotional during the ceremony. He had everyone in tears!
Michelle & Jeff gave each of the kids bracelets as gifts to welcome them into their new family.
Instead of just Michelle & Jeff lighting the unity candle, they had all of the children light the unity candle with them. It was a really touching ceremony they put together.
A big family hug after the ceremony.
Some fun shots of the couple.
Ok, so I usually don’t pose people. I just let them be throughout the day. Well, the little boy was doing this against the window and his little sister was standing right next to him. I told her to do what he was doing. This was the resulting picture:
She kept looking at the camera and was always ready with the smile. I couldn’t resist posting this one of her.
The First Dance.
I loved where he placed his hand during their dance. 😉

Congrats, Michelle & Jeff! Thank you for letting me photograph your day, and I hope you are having fun in Cancun! 😉
