This engagement session was one of the more unique ones I’ve had in a while. It wasn’t just the couple, but it was the weather! The couple was ready to have fun despite the sticky weather and the looming storm clouds. Those clouds turned out to be a great benefit! I don’t like using my flash, so I was in heaven. About 2/3rds of the way through the session, the cold front literally blew through. It dropped 10 degrees and became very windy. Thankfully, we made it out of there before the strong rains and the hail! LaRayne really wanted pictures by some fountains, so we took the pictures at the Minneapolis Rose Gardens. I think this is one of my top locations to take pictures! I loved the variety the park provided. You can see all of the variety in the pictures below.
LaRayne & Mark are getting married at the end of August. I’m looking forward to photographing them again on their wedding day. They sure know how to have fun!
I thought this would be a fun, different, and interesting shot. The weeping willow tree provided great framing of the couple!
I love this image!
