What a rollercoaster ride it was with Jen & Joe! I’ll give you the quick & dirty version… At first, they were going to meet with my associate Betsy, but then discovered at the last minute that Betsy was already booked for their wedding day! Both Betsy & I felt awful that we had gotten this far with these two and now had to tell them that we weren’t available. Well, I was still open on the 15th, but was originally too expensive for their budget. I figured I could cut them a little deal given everything we had put them through. They met with me and we all clicked! So, they booked me for their August wedding of next year. As it turns out, she is really good friends with someone who is best friends with my cousin. Small world!!
We had to reschedule their engagement session, which was originally scheduled on Monday. As most of us know, it was rainy and icky all day. Thank goodness we had beautiful weather for our session last night! I haven’t done an engagement session in a while, so this was a ton of fun for me. 🙂 We were at Centennial Lakes Park in Edina, which was absolutely gorgeous with the sunset and the leaves. Enjoy!
I know that I probably over-do the leaf-throwing pictures, but I figure they are so cool looking and we can really only do them one time a year!
Jen & Joe claimed, in their own words, that “they did things kind of backwards.” 🙂 Before getting married, they decided to have a baby first! They wanted to get some shots together with their boy, Kai, as part of their engagement session.
More leaf throwing!
