Jack, Martin, Chase, and now… Merritt!

I’ve had the pleasure and honor of working with this family ever since Martin was a newborn. Now, Martin is 3 1/2, and I was there yesterday to photograph the newest member of the family, Merritt. These kids sure photograph well, even if they are cranky or wild. They always manage to flash a smile at the camera. Merritt was fantastic to work with, especially only being 1 month old. She handled her older siblings so well, even when they were pulling and grabbing at her. She’s going to fit right in with the gang. 🙂

She had the ability to lift her head up, but wanted to suck on her arm instead. Still a really cute portrait of her, though!

Love that hair!

I had to post this one. We were attempting to get the kids situated on the bed for a photo. The boys were really putting out a good effort, but just couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Chase just wanted her pacifier. And, as you can see, Merritt was tired and just decided to pass out right in her mom’s lap. Priceless.
