What a day for Emily & Erik! It was extremely cold outside, but the love between them and their friends & family was enough to keep everyone warm 🙂
Erik only proposed back in April, so the fact that they pulled off planning this wedding in that short amount of time is amazing. Hats off to them, that’s for sure! The church & reception sites were absolutely beautiful. They were originally thinking about planning a 2008 fall wedding, but the thought of a winter wedding intrigued Emily so much that they planned it for the end of November 2007. I’m sure glad they did, because I loved being a part of their wedding! Their ceremony was held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fridley & their reception was at the Courtyards of Andover in, yup, you guessed it… Andover! It really is too bad the pretty snow ended up falling the day after their wedding 🙂
I loved her flowers!

They had this gorgeous red aisle runner for the church.
This was something I haven’t seen at a wedding before. Prior to the processional, they showed everyone a 5 minute slideshow, similar to what people usually show at receptions. It was really a neat way to do it!
I thought this was a cute moment. This is the little boy that Emily babysits for. He was blowing out the candles on the candelabra… well, at least the ones he could reach!
Ah, good old point & shoot cameras 🙂
This picture needs a caption. The bride & groom drew names out of a jar of couples when people clinked glasses. That couple had to get up and kiss as well!
Emily’s mom responding to her husband’s toast to the couple.
Check out the two little kids! Isn’t that hilarious?!
Congrats, Emily & Erik!! Enjoy your honeymoon in January!!!
